In 2005 Summer Scholars had the opportunity to have a matching endowment fund. We convinced them it should be called something other than just the "Summer Scholars Endowment Campaign" to help give it some personaility.
Even though they had 3 years to reach their goal - they managed to completed the mission in 6 months.
Was it the design?
We gave it a name to tie into the goal of 2 million, created a story to allow it to have some life - and developed an efficient system where they could produce small quantities of collateral on demand.
And of course a few posters to give any host's space - the ability to feel a part of the mission.
